How do I check in to an event?
Open the event in the app or on the website. Check-in opens 30 minutes before the start: tap Go to check-in, allow your location and press Check in while you are at the venue. Check out when you leave.
How do I register as a volunteer?
Create your account with Join as a volunteer and verify your email. Then verify your Emirates ID from your profile (a photo of your card, or UAE PASS). Once our team approves it, you can register for events, report missing hours and apply for membership.
What if an event requires an application?
Submit your application from the opportunity page. Organizers or platform staff will review it; you will get an email when the decision is made.
How can I download my personal data?
After you verify your email, open Profile → Data & privacy and use Download my data (JSON export). For broader requests, contact support.

How are volunteering minutes verified?
When an event uses attendance check-in, you check in and out at the venue with your phone’s location (or the organizer scans your pass). The time between check-in and check-out, within the event schedule, becomes your verified hours.
How do participation certificates work?
Open Certificates in your volunteer area and download a certificate for all your verified hours, one type of volunteering, a date range or the events you choose. Each certificate is bilingual, carries the association’s licence number 784-7-01-190143 and a QR code. Anyone can check it by scanning the QR or entering the certificate number at swaeduae.ae/certificates/verify.
Volunteer opportunities are published separately when programmes are open for registration.
