Governance
The association is a licensed non-profit under Federal Decree-Law 50/2023, governed by its statute, an elected board and the Ministry of Community Empowerment. Its founding documents and policies are listed here.

Approves the 2026 amendment of the statute, the new name “Swaed UAE Association for Culture and Community Empowerment” and the association’s eight objectives.

How we are governed
The General Assembly of working members elects the board of directors, which forms committees, approves the annual plan and reports to the Ministry of Community Empowerment. The board meets monthly; the secretary attends committee meetings; the treasurer keeps the accounts audited each fiscal year.
